An open stretch of highway is a beautiful thing, reflecting the freedom of the open road. In the '50s, during the worst road conditions, the Sinclair Snow Plow came to the rescue. Like the famous "Dino" dinosaur logo on its side, the Sinclair was powerful and sure footed. The famous "Dino" dinosaur in the Sinclair logo was well known to motorists by the mid-1900s. Sinclair advertised that its product put "dinosaur" power in your tank and that its gasoline had been "mellowed 100 million years." Its free road maps were often enhanced with exquisite illustrations of dinosaurs in pre-historic times, and there was even a dinosaur game offered to children.
For much of the 20th century, Sinclair was an essential part of Americas ever-growing love affair with the automobile.
